This beautiful brooch is from an estate sale in Orange County, CA. This estate had very high end jewelry. This vintage pin is carved I believe is celluloid but it could be bakelite. I haven't tested.

 

For auction is a great old horse and jockey brooch, that I believe dates to 1910-1940. It has an unusual "C" clasp- the locking mechanism opens and closes the clasp by moving it the opposite way than
