don't know too much about these, but this piece seems to be in good shape, i can't pick out any damages or issues, again don't know too much about these, so i don't know if it works, or how to test it

 

I believe this was working when it was separated from its wood-boring beetle Victorian case. But, I cannot guarantee it.
