An unusual industrial lamp shade. It's marked on the collar "PAT'D 1184906" (a patent number issued in 1916). It's non-magnetic chrome plated metal (most likely brass) and measures approximately 5 1/2

 

Not sure of the age. Nice Mug with one dent in inside of handle. Minor imperfections and beautiful patina due to use and age. Marked on bottom: SOLID COPPER and the letters WE or XE or VE?
