50 million years old fish fossil
Fifty Million Year Old Green River Fossil Fish
Fifty Million years ago the ancient Fossil Lake existed in what is now Wyoming. The unusual chemistry of the lake created conditions that prevented decay and scavenging, while alternating layers of limestone and organic matter accumulated. Fossil Lake sediments contain the most diverse and densely fossiliferous Eocen aquatic assemblage. Don't miss out on this once in a life time opportunity to own a piece of history that has been preserved for 50 Million years.
