Listed is a reproduction bisque baby doll. The head, arms and legs are bisque and the body appears to be a home made body. The head is marked on the back "Germany Arranbee 62078." The doll is 17-18 in

 

Early circa 1860's wax over papier mache shoulder head doll with original clothes and earrings, beautiful glass eyes and many flaws due to age...as shown in enlarged photos...sold "as is." DETAILS:1.

 

This doll we believe is a Louis Amberg, manufactured in New York between 1915 and 1922. We have several photo's from 1925 through 1927 of the little girl who was a the original owner holding the doll.
