Nice old carved vegetable ivory thimble holder. The carving is nicely done. The small end has been chipped and there is an age crack (see photo), but overall, a very nice piece. Posted with eBay Mobil

 

This is a small figural tomato sewing pin cushion with a sterling cap. The metal is tarnished, but the word "Sterling" can be made out. The leaves are embroidered chenille and the red fabric is cotton
