According to my research Doll VIII began production in 1929. The doll is 21" tall with a swivel head and human hair wig. The slender body has sewn on arms (one usually bent) and legs with disc joints.

 

This group consists of three dolls. The largest is a precolored five inch marked Gemany with wire strung joints, molded bows in her hair and a repaired foot (see photo). Her companion is a little girl

This auction is for a 26in Armand Marseilla Antique doll. She has bisque head but composition jointed body. The hair wig is not her original. I have a hard time trying to figure out the numbers on the
