This antique bisque socket doll head is marked on the back of the head as follows: Made in Germany, Armand Marseille 390, A 4&1/2 M. It was carefully removed from its composition-and-wood jointed

 

I know nothing about this doll, except that she appears to be made of celluloid, and is in excellent condition. Her clothing appears to be all original, and is sewn on so I won't attempt to remove it.

 

Very good condition measures 20 inches starting to crack under chin one shoe has heel missing head moves right and left shoes and socks socks decolored from age number on heel very hard to read 'dress

 

This doll belonged to my grandmother, who may have purchased it when she was an adult. The kid body shows signs of wear and tear. Hands are in mint condition. China head needs cleaning.
