Great looking full size pair of original mid 1950s to late 1960s Specialist 9 chevrons. Based on information I was able to locate, the Spec 9 rank was used from 1955 until it was discontinued in 1968.

 

This vintage Springfield 45-70 Bayonet is believed to be for a Cadet Rifle as opening for the rifle muzzle end is slightly smaller than the standard 45-70 rifle. Muzzle opening measures 0.705/0.706 in
