I think this is a pretty head and looks like a child. There is a hairline in the shoulder plate, but it feels secure. There are 'freckles' that are from the factory on the shoulder plate - see 3rd pic

 

Up for auction is this vintage bisque ? baby with a shoulder plate marked Germany 4 and has a cloth body. I know very little about these dolls. The arms up to its elbows is also hard like it's head. I
