A very beautiful and well presented German example of a parian doll from the 19th century. She has the palest of complexions to her lovely shoulderhead with crisp and deeply molded curls of pale blond

 

Here we have two dolls that are true polar opposites. The Layna lace maker doll is very voluptuous, loads of blue eye shadow, and a generally sexy stance. Then we have Marta, from Finland. Very sensib

 

The bisque head and leather body are not connected. The shoulder plate and head are unbroken except for a small chip on the lower front corner, see picture. On the back of the head it says DRGM377439.
