This is an antique letter opener with a mother of pearl blade and a heavily sculpted, Victorian, hollow sterling silver handle. On each side is the mark "sterling." The item is in good used condition.

 

These are lovely cups with the full alphabet on them and a bullfinch on one and a yellowhammer bird on the other. They are both marked Mersey Pottery - Shaw & Son - Burslem England. The Victorians

 

I am guessing that this cast iron dog is from Hubley, comparing it to others that I see listed. There are no markings on it. Some of the original red paint has worn off. He's still cute.
