This is an antique brass balance /Scale with case. No makers mark. There is an american eagle embossed on top of the case. There is one counter weight still with the lot. Strings are still attached. A

 

This balance has excellent patina, and is straight in all directions. It is 24 inches wide by 12 inches high, and all pivot points move freely. Surface is present, but does not appear to be because of
