This is an awesome antique C. Truax & Co. folding Amputation saw. It is 4 3/8" tall and 1 7/8" wide. There is some plating loss and some rusting. The blade is in good condition with all it's teeth

 

More than likely this lamp was repaired by a miner who could not afford to buy a new lamp. The base has been redone with a solid copper base with the nickel plated top left as original (minus the loop
