I had some old 8 Tracks , that I wanted to convert to digital. It played them well, it all still works good, for being 40+ years old. My opinion is that the older things were built to last.

 

Vintage Sankyo flip clock, early digital. This clock is in excellent working condition with only some light dust in nooks and crannies. The only real issue with this clock is that the numbers do glow
