This is a vintage Plumb 3 2 double bit axe head that is free of wood and in excellent condition with excellent markings also marked FS for forest service The head is 9 7/8" end to end and 4 1/2" acros

A repainted plane that owner "D. SANDS" has marked as his own on both sides. Handle and knob are undamaged. There is no structural damage. The sole has a number of dark marks from very shallow pitting
