I believe this is a blacksmith hammer.  Handle is a little loose.  Otherwise, it appears to be in very good condition.

 

Good to good minus condition; Shows use; Wedge end has some nicks and chips. Trademark is hard to read. I think it is marked with the patent application date, 11/11/1915. The patent date is Oct. 17, 1
