In doing my research for this carriage I found out that this carriage was made by Adrian Cook of Metallic Works in 1890 which is listed on page 189 of Antique & Collectible Dollhouses and their Fu

 

IT IS LIKE THE AFGHANS THAT OUR GRANDMOTHERS ALL HAD. BRINGS BACK A LOT OF MEMORIES. THE AFGHAN IS MADE FROM SINGLE STRAND EMBROIDERY THREAD AND WILL DRAPE BEAUTIFULLY OVER A COUCH, A BED, OR A LAP. A

 

How beautiful this piece is and in wonderful near mint condition. Areas of wear but overall quite lovely in teal blue. Looks greenish in some pictures but I feel it's more teal blue than teal green. M
