This is a small figural tomato sewing pin cushion with a sterling cap. The metal is tarnished, but the word "Sterling" can be made out. The leaves are embroidered chenille and the red fabric is cotton

 

Vintage thimble one side looks lighter I think it had tape on it, should clean up nice. Has markings says Sterling and number 6
