I buy storage lockers and I found this ring in the locker. Im not a jewelry expert but from my research I believe that it is from the victorian era. You can tell that the ring is definitly an antique.

 

This Victorian gold tone locket is 1 1/2" long and 7/8" wide. The front has a raised design with a seed pearl in the center. It opens to hold two pictures. The back has a small dent and some scratches

 

This is marked 800 on the pin and has a further mark which I think is GN Very slight loss of enamel near the centre but it is visible only under a glass Approx 2.5 cms across
