Excellent tiny wrought iron trammel from the mid to late 18th century. 11" to 14" long (fully extended). Wonderful delicate blacksmthed piece. Little trammels such as this primitive example were used

 

I found this the attic of a home in Mt Carmel Pennsylvania. Very old. The daughter of the deceased told me it belonged to her great aunt. The daughter was in her 80s. Do the math!!! Probably late1800s
