This is an antique brass balance /Scale with case. No makers mark. There is an american eagle embossed on top of the case. There is one counter weight still with the lot. Strings are still attached. A

 

Antique, British, Balance Postal Scale, circa 1900-1915, excellent antique condition, intact, clean, vivid. Lacquered brass, beveled, mahogany base, rubber feet. Stamped, balance beam, "MADE IN ENGLAN

 

Measures 19 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" deep x 10 1/2" tall in nice condition. has some repairs to it but the drawers all work. Sold "as is" because of age. Case is very well made and weights 21 pounds.
