The mortar stands only 2-3/4" high and is 4" across the top. It is heavy brass or bronze. The pestle is 5" long.

 

Unusual faceted stopper and label script, have only seen a few with this type of script. It is 10" tall and 3 1/2" in diameter. Has the letter "W" embossed on bottom. Stopper is original and is free.
