Variable from an AM radio, probably the late 1920s. It is 3-1/4" x 3 1/4" x 2 1/4" H, with the original knob. The plates are close spaced, so it probably exceeds 500 pF. It could use a good cleaning.

A set of 4 Heathkit XO 1 crossover knobs, 2 "Hash Mark" & 2 small knobs. 2 Heathkit "Hash Mark" knobs, Set Screw, 1/4" shaft, 1 1/8"Diameter at base and 2 small knobs.

 

Here is what I know. The tuning needle is missing, but presumably inside the case, on the bottom. The tuning string must be broken, because the tuning dial just spins and spins. I did not try hooking

 

Vacuum Tubes, pair Ken-Rad "6V6GT" and "0-39 188-5" on base Condition unknown, but inherited from electronics engineer, so I am confident all is well. I am of course willing to guarantee this item.
