This is a vintage starboard side ship's oil navigation lamp. It is brass, in good condition (just needs some cleaning, it's not as bright as the pictures) with a very small dent on the top. It was man

 

5 1/4" Wide x 3 1/8" Wide x 2" High Wonderful new reproduction scrimshaw carved bone box. As you can see this piece is tiled with ox bone on wood and decorated with a design typical of the period. Nic
