Pen has never been used, twas a gift. The batteries in the pen still work, BUT 2 of the SPARE BATTERIES appear to have some corrosion on them from sitting for a few years. So don't count on the spare

 

I found these in a box from my late father's estate. It is a matching pen and pencil set by WA Sheaffer. The pen is a fountain pen with a 14 ct. gold tip, and the pencil is mechanical and still works
