This was once part of a vintage dispay case; it has wooden sides with metal clamps at the corners, a metal handle, and a thick piece of glass that allowed for easy viewing of the contents of the drawe

 

I am totally unsure of what these are other than being buttons . Plus, they just looked interesting .
