Great small box measures 4-1/4 inches x 3 inches x 1-7/8 inches. Black label on front of box reads Best 6 Cord Spool Cotton, J & P Coats and I am not able to make out everything on right side of l

 

Lot consists of one uniform button. This coatee size button dates to The War of 1812. This excavated specimen retains an attractive amount of Sheffield silver plate and a rich green patina. Backmark r
