Lovely monocle- type single lens with ear hook. Acquired with understanding that frame is gold although there are no makers marks or gold marks. Home tests for gold were positive but karat not known.

THE COATES DIE-PLATE circa 1910It measures 5.5"x7.75" and was used to mold the biting surface of crowns. My research tells me it's a heavy gauge copper plate with an aluminum/silver coating.
