Up for bid is this beautiful vintage transistor radio. Radio turns on and tunes in great. Nice black body with gold face and red highlights and contains the Civil Defense marks between the 6-7 and 12-

 

Other than the above mentioned issues, I do not see anything wrong with it -- at least what matches the instructions.

From several lots of tubes previously purchased, here are three tested type JAN-CHS-5933 tubes made by Sylvania; one is a JAN-CHS-5933WA. These tubes test good on a Hickok 530 dynamic tube tester.
