THIS MEDIUM SATSUMA BUTTON MEASURES 1 3/16 INCH (NBS MED). IT IS PROBABLY FROM THE 1950'S AS INDICATED BY THE SHARPER EDGES ON THE SELF SHANK. THE BLUE ON THE BASE OF THE SHANK IS FROM THE COLORED PAP

 

A smal but rare kind of bone carved button from the 16th or 17th century. Found during digging activities in Holland. Condition: as found. Diameter 13 mm. I do combine shipping.

 

This is an antique floral design button of enameled and gilt brass. The pierced back-ground is unusual on an enameled button. The button measures approximately one inch and is in beautiful condition.
