This doll we believe is a Louis Amberg, manufactured in New York between 1915 and 1922. We have several photo's from 1925 through 1927 of the little girl who was a the original owner holding the doll.

This belonged to my great-aunt, so probably dates from the 1920's or earlier. The head and bust are porcelain - on the back it says "Germany", then something I can't read, looks like a capital M follo

This is a beautiful Armand Marseille child doll from the 1890's. She has a nice face with great coloring, large glass sleep eyes and an open mouth with teeth. The doll has beautiful feathered eyebrows
