Trying to describe my late Mother's buttons to the best of my ability as I am not expertise in this category. This button is approx. 1" wide and appears to me to be in good antique condition with norm

 

THIS IS A LOVELY ANTIQUE PARIS BACK BUTTON MADE OF SOLID BRASS WITH A SILVER PLATE OVER TOP-IT HAS INSECTS FLYING OVER PALM-LIKE FOLIAGE ON FRONT IN LOW RELIEF, MEASURES 5/8" IN DIAMETER AND IT HAS A

 

Good sized lot of antique glass buttons. Nothing new in here. I think some of them may be shoe buttons? There are some goodies in this bunch. 

 

First of all let me tell you that my expertise is in non-military buttons. I know very little about military ones. I did acquire a collector's card of French buttons from the reign of Napoleon III - 1

These wonderful sewing scissors were made by the John Pritzlaff Hardware Co of Milwaukee. The name and city is stamped on one side and the word "Everkeen" on the other. They ARE everkeen...still nice
