This is an ORIGINAL, HARD COVER, VIETNAM WAR, 1966 dated, MILITARY UNIT HISTORY of the U.S. Army TROPIC LIGHTNING 25th INFANTRY DIVISION. This unit history is WELL ILLUSTRATED with HUNDREDS OF PHOTOS.

 

U.S. Cavalry saber marked "AMES MFG CO / CHICOPEE MASS" on one side and "US/DR/1863".  35" Blade.

 

The blade has pitting and is not marked with any type of makers mark. The bayonet is 25 1/8" and the blade is 20 1/4". The fish scale handle is marked GGS JGR S. The scabbard is in very good condition
