This is a metal antique wall pocket. I believe it is brass and it looks to have been repaired around the nose. It measures 4 1/2 in by 3 3/4 inches and from the tip of the nose to the back is 5 inches

I thought the frame was burned to give it its look. Turns out it is lace. Neat idea, one I won't forget. The glass looks replaced. It doesn't have the wavy pattern expected with old glass. Frame is so
