These are beads that have been around for a very long time, possibly pre-1900s. The wedding cake beads are made of an opaque sky blue that was wrapped with delicate gold foil and then very thin trails

 

These are from the 1980's on, they measures 10mm's diameter x 6.75mm's long, the strand is 26 inches long, there are 100 beads total, in excellent condition, they are cobalt blue.
