Up for auction is a vintage Madame Alexander doll, marked "Alex" on her back. She is a bent-knee doll with a body that is in very good condition; her arms and legs, however, could be tighter. She has

 

Very pretty red and white check bathing suit with red ribbon on front. Back has red ric rac on back. Fastens in front with Velcro. I bought this on EBay and did not use it. Beautifully made. Not sure

 

This Madame Alexander doll was purchased in 1982 and has never been out of the box. She has never been displayed. Her eyes open and close perfectly and the stringing is tight. The clothing is pristine
