I think this is a very RARE pocket watch, it was made in 1857 serial number 237423 Waltham PJ Barlett, I think it is Barlett, the name was hand engraved, not stamped on the inside of the movement. The

I know nothing about this watch other than it is an estate find. The movement falls out of the case, the case is marked Illinois Elgin smells like sterling silver and is tarnished like sterling. Cryst
