These are two pieces of fabric that measure 36" wide - the larger piece is 6 1/2 yards, the other is a little over 1 yard. This was just unrolled from a bolt but nevertheless has yellowish spotting -

Vintage handmade, hand stitched quilt - 1940. The quilter's name and date has been embroidered on it. The backing is a yellow color. Not sure of the pattern name but it looks like stars and crosses. V
