This early locket measures 1 7/8"long and has no makers marks. Opens and closes easily and working clasp.There is some color variation/discoloration inside and maybe a repair at the top end visible in

 

a beautiful garnet necklace comprising cab garnets set in silver gilt, the gilt is dull due to age, and the item could do with a good clean, this will be up to the new owners if they wish to do this,
