Persian hand woven rug from tabriz intricate design set in peech and ivory background soft desirable color scheme in mint condition

 

An antique dealer told me this is a prayer rug. I am taking their word for it as I know absolutely nothing about rugs so if this is incorrect I apoligize. I think it is made of wool and it is antique.
