Up for auction is a pair of folding scissors made by Marx Brothers in the USA with a patent date of May 28, 1872. An advertisement for these scissors appeared in Scientific American September 9, 1876.

 

This is a small figural tomato sewing pin cushion with a sterling cap. The metal is tarnished, but the word "Sterling" can be made out. The leaves are embroidered chenille and the red fabric is cotton
