This figural handpainted thimble is from Francesca China, Staffordshire, England. It is of the character Tam O’Shanter in the poem of the same name by Robert Burns. It is signed inside by the artist

 

These are beautiful porcelain thimbles. All but two of them are gold trimmed. They would be a nice addition to any collection. They have no chips or cracks.
