Antique four masted sailing ship model probably from late 19th /early 20th century. Case measures 14" wide, 8"tall and 7 3/4" deep. The side pillars are carved inward slope and sits on 4 little brass

 

THIS IS A POND BOAT THAT WAS A BOY SCOUT PROJECT. POSSIBLY A MERIT BADGE. ITS PRIMITIVE IN THAT THE HULL, ALTHOUGH IS HOLLOW AND VERY LIGHT, HAS TOOL MARKS ON THE OUTER SURFACE. THE DECK IS WELL DONE
