For consideration, is this beautiful antique/vtg silk taffeta ribbon. The photos are with a flash so as to show the luxurious sheen, but it also causes the colors to be a bit lighter than they are in

 

I am going to guess that this quilt is as old as beginning to mid 20th century. The third and fourth photos give a most accurate color. The size is for a double bed with long over hang on three sides.
