This is an unusual 1 3/8" tape measure consigned from a fine NY Estate Collection. It is without damage or wear.

 

These knurled buttons measure about 7/16 inch in diameter. They have a shinny gold finish, which I believe is the result of gilding. Thanks for looking and good luck.

These 6 buttons are made of black glass. Two are 9/16" and the rest are 5/8' round. They have a silver luster. Four are in good condition. One has a chipped moon..One has a patent date Dec. 28, 1880.

 

Trim looking sailing vessel under full canvas - under convex glass - set in metal with raised slit shank - a generous 1/2". Very nice condition - no scratches - no corrosion.
