THE COATES DIE-PLATE circa 1910It measures 5.5"x7.75" and was used to mold the biting surface of crowns. My research tells me it's a heavy gauge copper plate with an aluminum/silver coating.

 

I just got this from an estate sale and don't really know exactly what it is. I plugged the main unit in and it makes a sound like I assume its working. It appears to be missing one electrode and anot
