I looked this early Antique cast iron hand crank sewing machine over very carefully and could not find any name or numbers on it. It apears to be all complete and it does crank freely with the needle

I'm not completely convinced this is a sewing kit. It is part of my late aunt's estate and measures 6" x 4". It is made by Cross and has a snap closure. Inside are two sections. One has sewing needle
