This was used on a WWI or WWII era United States Navy submarine. Industrial depth to keel compound gauge. This is a large example of a submarine depth gauge. It measures 9 5/8" diameter and 2.75" deep

 

Good condition, has spent most of time in box. Box itself has some wear showing from being moved multiple times and stored in a garage for a few years.
