Antique hand pieced tied quilt that measures approx 82" x 82" very appealing fabrics were used in the blocks called " broken dishes I think" circa 1880's that measure 8.5" sewn and the sashing fabric

 

The fabric seems heavier than your typical handkerchief Approx size 15' x 13' The back side is shown on the second to last photo There are a few marks- dirt?- One such mark - approx 1/4 inch - is show

 

THIS IS A NICE TABLECLOTH WITH PRETTY BRIGHT COLORS OF AQUA, ORANGE, GREEN AND GRAY ON A LIGHT TAN. THERE ARE NO STAINS OR HOLES. I BELIEVE IT IS LINEN BUT MAYBE A COTTON BLEND. NEEDS VERY LIGHT TOUCH
